Our group is working on legal frameworks and financing strategies to show how technology platforms can be operated sustainably in Germany.
Identification of new strategies and funding schemes & clarification of the position of German facilities in the context of the German / European roadmaps
The aim of our team is to enable the training of users and trainers. Furthermore, we love to open the exciting fields of optics, microscopy, and image analysis to the public.
The WG “Image Data Analysis and Management” aims to support imaging facilities in the introduction and implementation of analytical procedures and FAIR data management.
We foster and enable a professional exchange and interaction between scientists and facility staff performing intravital microscopy. We enable networking, knowledge transfer as well as a professional platform for specific issues in the field of intravital microscopy.
The GerBI FLIM group aims to raise awareness about the opportunities provided by Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging (FLIM) microscopy to the life science community.
We aim to form an international network among young scientists in which we can discuss our specific imaging and analysis issues in an informal, peer- based environment. We offer problem- based learning on flexible, on-demand topics (watch parties of online lectures, roundtable discussions and troubleshooting sessions), as well as events with invited experts.
The Team Industry Cooperation promotes since 2024 interaction between microscope manufacturers and imaging companies on the one hand, and academia with research groups and imaging facilities on the other. The aim of this initiative is to enhance the quality of all aspects within imaging workflows, thereby paving the way for new applications and technology developments. This will be achieved through synergies between all members and will ease new scientific discoveries.
Our goal is to facilitate discussions on strategies, sample preparation, data analysis and software in correlative light and electron microscopy (CLEM). We aim to foster professional exchange and networking among scientists and facility staff already engaged in electron microscopy and CLEM, as well as those interested in getting involved.
