GerBI-GMB unites researchers and professionals as well as core facilities in Germany involved in microscopy and image data analysis for the life sciences under one roof, and fosters knowledge exchange within the community, and interaction between scientists and engineers both from academia and industry. We warmly invite membership applications to the society. Membership is open to individuals, institutions and companies. Membership provides full access to the network including all the benefits and opportunities provided by us. Personal Membership

By becoming a personal member of GerBI, you will receive unrestricted entry to the expansive network offered by our society. You’ll have the chance to participate in a varied assortment of training activities and actively contribute to the society.

The advantages of individual membership are:

1. Enjoy discounted fees for our biennal Trends in Microscopy conference, the GerBI Annual Meeting, as well as the Core Facility Leadership and Management Courses.
2. Exercise your voting rights to elect GerBI-GMB Board members.
3. Participate actively in the General Assembly.
4. Promote visibility of your research group or core facility by listing it on the Society’s website.
5. Take part in various GerBI-GMB teams.
6. Benefit from subsidized participation fees in our training activities.
7. Gain access to the GerBI-GMB Cloud and our internal Communication Channel for seamless information sharing and networking.
8. Stay informed and updated with inclusion in the GerBI-GMB Mailing list.

Annual Fee: 100€
Reduced fee for (PhD-) Students: 40€

Institutional Membership

University and research institution memberships (for public law entities): Up to 12 individuals from the institution can enjoy the perks of individual membership, with the exception of voting in the society’s general assembly. However, institutional members get 1 collective vote.

The advantages of institutional membership are:

1. Enjoy reduced conference fees for the biennal Trends in Microscopy conference and the Core Facility Managers Meeting.
2. Promote your research group or core facility with a listing on the Society’s website.
3. Participate in GerBI-GMB workgroups.
4. Benefit from subsided participation in our training activities.
5. Stay informed with inclusion on the GerBI-GMB mailing list.
6. Access exclusive content in the restricted area of the GerBI-GMB website.

Annual Fee: 1,000€

Corporate Membership

GerBI-GMB is grateful for the support from its corporate members. Three different membership options, bronze, silver and gold corporate membership are available. Each of the different membership options offer different opportunities to interact with the society.
