Biomedical Center (BMC) at the LMU München
Core Facility Bioimaging Biomedical Center (BMC) Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU) The facility is hosted by the Walter-Brendel-Zentrum für Experimentelle Medizin (WBex), one of eight chairs at the BMC. Our primary goal is to provide access to state of the art light microscopy systems, from standard to high-end, and to image analysis to the researchers of the BMC. Beyond that, we are happy to provide available capacity to users from other institutes and institutions. The facility opened late in fall 2015. Of ten new microscopes five are laser scanning microscopes, including STED, light sheet and multi-photon. For detailed information about our instrumentation please see the website.
