General Information

The 2019 GerBI-GMB Core Facility Managers Meeting will be held in Mainz.

The Meeting is catered for individuals managing or working in imaging or image analysis core facilities and is co-organized by Sandra Ritz of the Institute of Molecular Biology (IMB).

This meeting series, formerly known as the German BioImaging Annual Community Meeting (or the “Fulda-Meeting”), was founded in 2010 and has since then taken place annually.


The meeting will commence on Wednesday at 1 pm in order to give everyone the possibility to reach the venue in the morning. The meeting will end on Friday after lunch.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday at IMB Mainz, and on Thursday and Friday at the Hotel Select in Mainz.

is 25th of February 2019.

Cancellation policy

For cancellations received four weeks before the event (25 February 2019), fees will be refunded. After this four weeks rule, no refund will be possible for last minute cancellation or no-show. If cancellation is due to sickness then a medical certificate is required. Cancellations must be sent to the GerBI-GMB office.


Personal and corporate GerBI-GMB members 100 €
Academic, non GerBI-GMB members 250 €

Interested commercial parties who are non-members of GerBI-GMB, are asked to contact the GerBI-GMB office.

Not included:

Accommodation is not included in the registration fee. For your convenience, we have reserved a limited number of special-rate rooms in the Hotel Select for 94 €. Please contact the Hotel Select to book your hotel room.
