Connect, Learn, and Share with the BioImaging Community
The GerBI Chat event series is an interactive platform hosted by GerBI-GMB and supported by the GerBI team training and knowledge transfer that brings together GerBI members of all career-levels to discuss the latest trends, challenges, and innovations in the world of microscopy, image analysis, research data management, outreach topics, funding application tips, budgeting of core facilities, and more…. These informal, yet insightful, virtual meetings provide a space for participants to engage in open conversations, exchange knowledge, and share experiences in a relaxed and collegial setting.
The GerBI Chats are designed to spark discussion, inspire new ideas, and foster collaboration among members of the bioimaging community. What makes GerBI Chats special is its emphasis on creating a friendly and inclusive environment where participants are encouraged to ask questions, share challenges, and offer solutions. With contributions from both experts and newcomers alike, these sessions aim to promote knowledge exchange and strengthen the network of bioimaging professionals across Germany and beyond.

We encourage GerBI members to submit proposals for upcoming GerBI Chat events. This is an opportunity to lead a discussion on a relevant bioimaging topic—whether it’s a new imaging technique, a challenge you’ve encountered, or an emerging trend in image analysis. By organizing a GerBI Chat, you can share your expertise with the community, promote collaboration, and get direct feedback from the community. Topics of all kinds are welcome as long as they relate to bioimaging (teaching, new technologies, practical applications, …).
