We are excited to announce that GerBI is offering 3 travel grants for the upcoming OME2025 meeting at MBL, Woods Hole, US from 28.4.-1.5.2025 (https://www.bioimagingnorthamerica.org/events/ome-2025-community-meeting/). This is the first time, that the OME meeting is happening in the US (instead of the usual location in Dundee). GerBI and especially Josh Moore is actively shaping the meeting as part of the organization committee. This is a fantastic opportunity for GerBI members to join the (quite far away) meeting and to learn and discuss about research data management and OMERO.

Travel Grant Details:

• Eligibility: Open to all GerBI members
• Active Presentation: You must present something at OME2025, e.g. a talk, a workshop or a discussion round during the unmeeting
• Grant Amount: Up to 1200€ to cover registration, travel, and accommodation
• CO2 Compensation: It is mandatory to pay for CO2 compensation for your travel from the grant money
• Number of Grants: 3 travel grants available
