We had an amazing networking event hosted by the “Young Microscopists and Image Analysts” (YMIA) team in GerBI at the Johannstadt Campus of TU Dresden! 🌐 The evening began with a brief introduction to GerBI and the YMIA team, including an overview of upcoming events. We also kicked things off with some fun Mentimeter questions, helping everyone get comfortable and break the ice! ❄️

The event featured four campus experts in microscopy and image analysis, bridging the gap between young scientists and the local expert community and providing insights and experiences from their fields. 🎓 We discussed the role of microscopy in education, the latest in image analysis, and ideas for expanding the impact of YMIA.

We also enjoyed delicious pizza, finger foods, and drinks, which made for a relaxed and friendly atmosphere perfect for networking and exchanging knowledge. 🍕🍹 This was a fantastic opportunity to strengthen our local microscopy and image analysis community, share experiences, and make new connections.
